How it Works :
Ever Thought of turning your computer into a piano ?Well, here is an Application can do just this ! No taped voices ! This application just generates real synthasizer MIDI music on your computer ! It is an enhanced version of tbe MIDI demo program supplied with jDK 1.3 .I've changed the interface and added KEYBOARD support .Supports 128 instruments .

Directions :

 System requirement :
 java  1.3 (or higher )
soundcard with  MIDI support

EXTRACTING DOWNLOADE FILES :

 * move files to a directory (say  )
 * extract with following command 
      jar -xvf piano.jar 


How to  Run :

WINDOWS 
* set classpath=%classpath;. [if current directory  
                             (.) is not on you classpath ]
* cd [ application directory ]  [ you should see rahulsynth 
                              directory in it ]
* java rahulsynth.SynthApplication

LINUX
* set classpath=%classpath:.[if current directory  (.)
                              is not on you classpath ]
* cd [ application directory ]  [ you should see rahulsynth 
                               directory in it ]
* java rahulsynth.SynthApplication
